A normal car wash removes loose dirt from the surface. A professional Wash, Clay & Seal goes much further by removing embedded iron, mineral deposits and bonded contamination that washing alone simply can’t remove.

REMOVE CONTAMINATION
Iron particles, mineral deposits, road contamination and other bonded contaminants can remain attached to your paint even after a thorough wash. We chemically and mechanically decontaminate the finish to remove them.
RESTORE A SMOOTH FINISH
Proper decontamination removes the rough, gritty feel caused by bonded contamination and prepares the surface so the protection can properly bond to clean paint.
ADD LASTING PROTECTION
Depending on the package selected, we finish the process with protection designed to deliver approximately 3–6 months with Silver or 6–12 months with Gold.
WHAT WASH, CLAY & SEAL DOESN’T DO
Wash, Clay & Seal is not paint correction. It can dramatically improve how clean, smooth and glossy the finish looks, but it does not permanently remove swirl marks, scratches or other defects in the clearcoat. If your vehicle has years of damage from improper washing or “Slap N’ Scratch” automatic car washes, paint correction may be the better option.
THE PROCESS
5 STEPS TO A CLEANER, SMOOTHER, PROTECTED FINISH
Wash, Clay & Seal is more than a quick wash followed by a spray sealant. We properly decontaminate the paint first so the protection is applied to a clean, prepared surface.

THOROUGH WASH
Dirt, road film and loose contamination are safely removed from the vehicle before deeper decontamination begins.
STEP 02
IRON DECON
Embedded iron and ferrous contamination are chemically dissolved and removed from the paint.
STEP 03
MINERAL CLEANSE
Mineral deposits and water-spot contamination are chemically treated to leave the surface cleaner before the mechanical decontamination stage.
STEP 04
CLAY DECONTAMINATION
Remaining bonded contamination is mechanically removed to restore a smoother finish and properly prepare the paint for protection.
STEP 05
SEAL & PROTECT
The prepared finish is protected with the product appropriate to your Silver or Gold package for added gloss, slickness and easier maintenance.

What you should know about decontamination, protection, longevity and maintaining your vehicle after a Wash, Clay & Seal service.
WHAT IS A WASH, CLAY & SEAL?
It’s a complete exterior decontamination and protection service. The vehicle is thoroughly washed, chemically treated for iron and mineral contamination, mechanically decontaminated to remove remaining bonded contaminants, and then protected with your selected Silver or Gold protection package.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROTECTION LAST?
Our Silver package provides approximately 3–6 months of protection, while Gold provides approximately 6–12 months. Actual longevity varies based on mileage, vehicle use, environmental exposure, maintenance and washing methods.
DO I STILL NEED TO WAX MY VEHICLE?
No. You never have to wax your vehicle again. Silver and Gold use modern paint protection instead of relying on traditional wax. When the protection reaches the end of its service life, simply have the vehicle decontaminated and protected again.
WILL THIS REMOVE SWIRLS AND SCRATCHES?
No. Wash, Clay & Seal removes contamination and can dramatically improve the cleanliness, smoothness and gloss of the finish, but it does not permanently remove defects in the clearcoat. Swirls, scratches and marring require paint correction.
WHY DO YOU USE IRON REMOVER AND MINERAL CLEANSE BEFORE CLAY?
Chemical decontamination allows us to dissolve and remove contamination before mechanically touching the paint. Iron remover targets ferrous particles, while Mineral Cleanse addresses mineral contamination and deposits. Clay is then used for remaining bonded contamination.
CAN I ADD AN INTERIOR DETAIL?
Absolutely. A Standard Interior can be added starting at $99 or a Premium Interior starting at $199, allowing you to have the inside and outside handled during the same appointment.
CAN I TAKE IT THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH AFTERWARD?
We don’t recommend “Slap N’ Scratch” automatic car washes. Their brushes and wash media can introduce new swirls, scratches and marring into the clearcoat. Proper hand washing will help preserve both the appearance of the finish and the protection applied to it.
