What’s the difference between hard rolling, retractable and hard folding truck bed covers?

Hard rolling covers combine rigid construction with a cover that rolls toward the cab for excellent bed access. Retractable covers slide into a canister near the cab and are available in manual and powered designs. Hard folding covers use rigid panels that fold toward the cab. The best choice depends on how you use your truck, the amount of bed access you need and the features you want.

What information do you need to find the right cover for my truck?

We’ll need your truck’s year, make, model and bed length. Factory bed options, cargo-management systems, bed rails, multifunction tailgates and other equipment can also affect fitment, so we’ll confirm the applicable details before ordering.

Are hard rolling truck bed covers secure?

Hard rolling covers are designed to provide substantially more physical protection than a traditional soft roll-up cover. Models such as the BAK Revolver use rigid aluminum slats and locking rails to help protect the bed when the cover and tailgate are secured.

Will a tonneau cover keep my truck bed completely dry?

Tonneau covers are designed to provide significant weather protection, but they should not be considered completely waterproof. Can I install SwingCases on both sides of my truck bed?
